1: What is the exam pattern for JMI B.A. LL.B?

The JMI B.A. LL. B is an offline exam that is 2 hours (120 minutes) long. In the JMI B.A. LL. B, the students will have to answer the 150 objective type multiple choice questions across five sections, namely, English comprehension, current affairs, legal aptitude / legal reasoning, general studies and elementary mathematics. As for marking scheme, 1 mark will be given for the right answers and 0.25 mark will be deducted for wrong attempts.

2: Does JMI provide distance education courses to the students?

Yes, Jamia Millia also provide distance education courses to the students under the Centre for Distance and Open Learning which was established in 2002. JMI offers 22 distance programmes as of now. The distance education courses offered by JMI include 11 postgraduate programmes, 6 undergraduate courses, 2 postgraduate diploma programmes, one diploma and two certificate courses.

3: What is the fee structure for different courses in JMI?

The fee structure of the courses offered by Jamia Millia will vary depending on level of the progammes, nature of the courses and the like. JMI offers more than 260 courses in total including the diploma programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate progammes and PhD level programmes. 4: What are the reservation criteria for different categories in the JMI?

JMI provide reservation for OBC and Kahmiir migrants for the seats in the prgrammes offered. 50 percentage of the seats in all programmes are earmarked for the Muslim applicants, Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and Scheduled Tribes. They must belong to “Non- Creamy Layer” to be eligible for reservation. Likewise, 5% percentage of seats in all prorgrammes offered by JMI is reserved for the physically challenged persons.

5: What all courses does JMI offer?

Jamia Millia offers more than 260 courses in total across the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. Among the courses offered by Jamia Millia, you can find 56 doctoral programmes, 81 masters programmes, 18 postgraduate diploma programmes, 59 undergraduate programmes, 11 advanced diploma programmes, 20 diploma programmes and 21 certificate programmes.
