Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) was started in 1984, since then it has made a significant contribution in the field of research, teaching-learning and administration. KCT admissions to different academic programmes give eligible candidates a chance to enrol based on the fulfilment of eligibility criteria. KCT admissions are offered in 15 undergraduate disciplines, 16 postgraduate specializations and various PhD fields. In 2020, KCT admission department set up new bachelor’s and master’s programmes in engineering including M.B.A in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development, M.Tech. in Technology Management and M.E. in Construction Management. • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit of the qualifying examination

KCT PG Admission Process

• Appear for the entrance examination.

• Further candidates have to participate in the TANCA counselling process.

KCT Ph.D Admission Process

• Centre for Research, Anna University make admissions to PhD programmes twice a year.

• Candidates have to appear for a written test/interview and qualify it.

• Aspirants can get in touch with supervisors associated with the research centres to fix a research topic and get their approval for being a supervisor to the candidate.

• Selected candidates will be admitted to PhD programme based on the vacancy under the supervisor.

• If the supervisor does not have a vacancy, the candidate can choose an alternate supervisor.

• Admission will be done after the submission of all original documents.
