NMIT Bangalore Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore offers admissions at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes. NMIT admission to the undergraduate programmes is based on the marks of KCET or COMEDK UGET. After the declaration of the result, cutoff is released. Qualified candidates have to appear for counselling, during which seats are also allotted on the basis of merit. For NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore admission to the M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for Karnataka PGCET. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test. NMIT BE Admissions

BE is a 4-year full-time undergraduate programme offered by NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore. The institute fills 45% of the seats through KCET, 30% of the seats through COMEDK UGET and the remaining 25% of the seats under management quota. • Candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria.

• Candidates have to appear for KCET, conducted by KEA.

• After the declaration of the result, KEA will release the cutoff.

• Candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for counselling.

• To appear for counselling, candidates have to register for the same and fill the choices of institutes and courses.

• After that, seats will be allotted on the basis of merit scores of KCET and participation in the counselling process.

• Finally, to confirm admission, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

NMIT BE Admission Process through COMEDK UGET

• First, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria.

• Next, they have to appear for COMEDK UGET, conducted by COMED-K.

• After the declaration of the result, NMIT will release the cutoff.

• Qualified candidates have to register for counselling and fill their preferences of the college and course.

• Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit of COMEDK UGET and participation in the counselling.

• To confirm the seats, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

NMIT M.Tech Admissions

M.Tech is a two-year full-time programme offered by NMIT. The institute inducts candidates to the M.Tech programme through Karnataka PGCET, GATE and management quota. 80% of the seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET/GATE and 20% of seats are filled under the management quota. The management quota seats are filled by the candidates having valid Karnataka PGCET and GATE scores on the basis of merit.

• Candidates have to meet the NMIT eligibility criteria.

• Appear for Karnataka PGCET, conducted by KEA.

• GATE qualified candidates are exempted from Karnataka PGCET.

• After the declaration of the result, KEA will release the merit list and rank list.

• A separate merit list will be prepared for the candidates having a valid GATE score. 

• Qualified candidates have to register for counselling, conducted by KEA and select NMIT.

• Seats will be filled on the basis of merit and participation in the counselling.

• For NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore M.Tech admission, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees. 

NMIT MBA and MCA Admissions

The institute offers a full-time MBA programme. The duration of the programme is two years. 50% of the seats in MBA are filled through Karnataka PGCET and the remaining 50% seats are filled under the management quota for the candidates having valid Karnataka PGCET, K-MAT and C-MAT scores. 

MCA is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme. 50% of the seats in MCA are filled through Karnataka PGCET and 50% through management quota. Candidates applying for management quota seats should have a valid Karnataka PGCET and K-MAT scores.

NMIT offers a six-year full-time Ph.D programme from Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The institute offers Ph.D programmes in the areas of chemistry, civil engineering, computer applications, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, etc.
