Presidency College Chennai offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. Presidency College admission to undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the 12th class examination. For PC Chennai admission to PG courses, the candidates’ marks in the undergraduate programme are taken into consideration. Presidency College accepts marks of only one entrance exam which is TANCET for admission to its M.C.A. programme. The procedure to apply for admission at the undergraduate level is different from the application procedure involved for admission at the postgraduate level. The procedure to apply for admission at the undergraduate programme the student needs to submit the application form either manually in person at the college office or via post. However, for admission at the postgraduate level, the students need to register on an online PG admission web portal.

Presidency College Admission UG Level - Key points to remember

The step by step admission key pointers at the UG level at Presidency College Chennai is explained below

• The application form can be obtained from the principal office before 5 PM in-person or via post.

• The application form should be completely filled by the applicant and the same needs to reach the Admission Office before the stipulated time mentioned by the college.

• Applications received after the stipulated time will not be entertained

• The request for an extension of time for submission of documents called for, after the specified date and time will not be entertained.

• The student seeking admission under any special category (Orthopedically Physically disabled, & Children of Ex-Servicemen) need to submit Special Category Form I along with required certificates and the application form.

• Photocopy/ Fax copy of the student application will not be accepted.

Presidency College Admission Online Application Procedure - PG Level

• Student needs to register on the PG admission online web portal.

• After registering the student need to log in and fill in all the required details.

• If eligible, the student needs to upload the certificate of caste if belonging to SC/ ST / SCA community.

• The nominal fee of Rs 60 needs to be paid against the application form.

• The student needs to enter marks of each semester of the last qualifying examination.

• The student can print the application form for future reference.
