What is a BBA MBA programme?
The BBA MBA dual degree programme is a five-year undergraduate plus postgraduate integrated course that a candidate can pursue right after passing his or her 10+2 exams. It combines both undergraduate BBA and postgraduate MBA degree programmes in one integrated course. BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration. Candidates can pursue it right after completion of 10+2. The duration of the separate BBA is 3 years. On the other hand, an MBA or Master of Business Administration can be pursued only after completion of a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 level of academic programme. The duration of MBA is 2 years. Candidates willing to pursue an integrated BBA MBA are required to apply only single time for both the degrees as it is a dual degree programme. It is offered by multiple private and government institutions like IIMs, Xavier University, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Nirma University Institute of Management and many more.
This integrated course is creatively designed for applicants who have an aptitude for both managerial and leadership roles. BBA MBA Admission Process
The BBA MBA integrated course under IIM Indore has to apply online with the required information on the institution's website. The application form is targeted to understand the applicants’ handle on both extra-curricular activities as well as academics. After form filling, comes the entrance exam, which tests an aspirants’ aptitude for basic math, logical reasoning and English. The shortlisted candidates further have to appear for Written Ability Test (WA) & Personal Interview (PI).

Candidates are further selected based on the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) score and performance in written ability test and personal interview.
BBA MBA Entrance Examination
The entrance examination happens in three stages. Candidate’s begin by writing the IPMAT exam. Shortlisted aspirants are then called for a Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (WAT). The weightage for the same is as follows:
IPMAT: 50 %
Written Ability Test: 35%
Personal Interview: 15 %
IPMAT: IPMAT is abbreviation for Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test. It is conducted by IIM Indore to provide admissions to eligible candidates in IPM dual degree programmes which combine a bachelor and master degree in management. Candidates after completing class 12 are eligible for appearing in the IPMAT.
SAT: SAT stands for Scholastic Assessment Test. It is conducted by the College Board to provide admissions to universities in the United States and Canada. SAT is conducted with a frequency of five times a year including March, May, August, October and December.
