BITS Pilani Admissions

Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani admission process. For B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc. programme admission, candidates have to appear for BITSAT. After the release of cutoff, shortlisted candidates have to appear for BITSAT counselling for seat allotment. As per the BITS Pilani admission criteria, direct admissions to the B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc. programmes are offered to the first rank students of all the central and state boards. For the P.G.D programme admission, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of scrutinisation of the application and documents during submission.

The institute accepts scores of BAAT for the M.B.A programme admission. For BITS Pilani admission to the M.B.A programme, candidates have to appear for BAAT. A personal interview is also conducted for the shortlisted candidates. BAAT scores, performance in personal interview, CAT/XAT/GMAT scores (if available), work experience and academic records together are considered for the selection of the candidates in the M.B.A programme.
