About Chandigarh University

Chandigarh University also known as CU Chandigarh or CUCHD was established in the year 2012. The varsity has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The campus is spread over 150 acres of land. The university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A+' grade. In the QS Asia Ranking Chandigarh University has been ranked as India's 2nd Private University. The engineering programmes of Chandigarh University has been approved by the AICTE whereas the law programmes have been approved by the approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). The pharmacy, architecture, education and physical education programmes offered by CU have been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, Council of Architecture and National Council for Teacher Education respectively.

CU Sports Policy Scholarship	Students who have achievements in sports in International, National or Zonal level are eligible for this scholarship. College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is really very nice and well maintained. The libraries, canteens, labs and auditoriums are air-conditioned. Washrooms are kept hygienic as well. Quality of food served is really good and tasty.
