    About JNU Delhi

    Jawaharlal Nehru University, also known as JNU, is a central university in New Delhi that was established in the year 1969. The university offers 179 courses across the UG, PG and doctoral levels. A few of the JNU courses are offered across multiple specialisations. These courses are offered across multiple streams like Computer Application and IT, Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce, Engineering and Architecture, and others. The university offers admission to candidates who fill the application form before the due date. JNU also has a placement cell that aims to get as many students recruited as possible.     A total of 179 courses are offered at this university. Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi course list consists of 12 undergraduate, 102 postgraduate and 65 doctoral programmes for candidates. The fee structure for JNU B.A. Hons. and M.Tech course is Rs. 982 and Rs. 706 respectively. Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course they wish to get enrolled in. JNU B.A Hons and M.A courses are offered in 10 and 31 specialisations, respectively. The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D course at this university is that the candidates must have a 2 years M.Phil degree with 55% marks or a Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.

    JNU Admissions

    In order to apply for JNU admissions, students must fulfil the eligibility criteria and fill the application form from the official website of the university.  The students should also submit the necessary documents and pay the application fee before submitting the application form. Students have to apply and appear for CUET and CUET(PG) for JNU B.Tech and JNU PG admissions, respectively. Whereas for Ph.D admissions, students have to apply and appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. However, students with valid scores in JRF and GATE  are exempted from the entrance exam.

    JNU Cut-Off

    Students seeking JNU UG and PG admissions have to appear for CUET and CUET(PG) respectively. After the exam, the university releases a cut-off, based on which students are granted admissions. JNU cut-offs are the closing marks and ranks that applicants must secure to be able to be considered for admission in the university. The cut-off is based on some determining factors like the total number of candidates appearing for exam, the total number of seats, number of qualifying candidates, past year cutoff trends, difficulty level and reservation criteria.

    JNU Scholarships

    Some of the Jawaharlal Nehru University scholarships are Merit-cum-means Scholarships, G Parthasarathi Endowment Fellowship, Jawahar Bhawan Trust Scholarship, Special Fellowships for SC/ST and PH students, and others.     Overall JNU has good location advantage .

    Jawharlal Nehru University huge green campus spread over 1100 acres in the aravali region of South Delhi, New Delhi. . JNU have required labs. It has big sports Complex where all sports related things are conducted. There is wi-fi access near all schools. JNU has lots of hostels whose names are based on the name of rivers. Every hostel has its own specifications. Some of the hostel are co-ed.

    First of all, this is an University. And the school of engineering comes under this university. So I would be talking about the school and the university as combined. Campus Life - 5/5 Academics - 4/5, follows IIT Delhi curriculum, location - 4/5, one star deduction for the pollution in Delhi. Placement - expected average of 12 LPA. I hope I have made most of the things clear.
