K J Somaiya Institute of Management is a private institute that was established in 1981. The K J SIM courses include MBA programmes, MCA, and doctoral programmes. Admissions are offered to students who meet the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to get admitted in. K J SIM has a placement cell which is known as Career Management and Corporate Relations Team. Apart from this, the institute also offers a wide range of facilities for its students and staff. The institute's PG and doctoral course list includes MBA, MBA-Health Care Management, MBA-Sports Management, MBA Executive, MBA (PT) - Part Time Management, MCA and Ph.D programmes. The K J SIM intake capacity for MBA is 600 seats + Supernumerary seats, MBA-HCM & MBA-SM is 30 seats each. The intake capacity for MBA Executive is 30 seats + 15% Supernumerary seats and 60 seats for MCA. The K J SIM course fees is Rs 19.95 lakhs for MBA, MBA-HCM & MBA-SM. The course fees for MCA is Rs 6.06 lakhs.

K J SIM Mumbai Admissions

Eligible candidates can apply for admission by filling the online K J SIM application form. For MBA and MBA Executive admission, candidates will have to appear for and secure valid marks in  CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT, while for MCA admission, applicants will have to appear for K J Somaiya entrance test or PERA-CET or GATE. For Ph.D admissions, applicants must appear for an entrance test conducted by the institute itself. However, students with valid GATE Score in Computer Science & Information Technology OR Candidates who hold a JRF Fellowship with CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR and DBT examinations are exempted from appearing for Ph.D. entrance examination.

K J Somaiya Institute of Management Mumbai Cut-Off

Students at this institute have to appear for different entrance exams like CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT for MBA and K J Somaiya entrance test or PERA-CET or GATE for MCA. In order to grab seats in either of these courses, students must obtain minimum valid marks i.e meet the cut off that is released by the institute. Cut-offs are released by institutes by keeping many factors in mind like the number of students appearing for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut-off trends, and others.
