It was granted the status of autonomous college and college with potential for excellence by UGC in 2006, college of excellence in 2014 and college with a special heritage status in 2015. College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is the only downside of this college. The lift facility is only for professors and staff members. All the classes does not have an air conditioner but all classes are equipped with a projector and screen.

Yes, the college definitely contained good infrastructure. Since it is declared as a college of Heritage, the infrastructure tends to be a similar of that in the Britishers era. Although the facilities are quite good, we have the best library 80s and the best central libraries and sports centres in our college and the living spaces are also clean with hygienic canteen .
