Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune was established in the year 1971 under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. The campus spreads over 350 acres of land. By the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the Institute was declared as a Deemed-to-be-University in the year 2002. In NIRF 2021 Ranking, Symbiosis International University, Pune has been ranked 68th in the overall category. In the university category, it has been ranked 38 in the NIRF ranking 2021 whereas last year (2020) SIU Pune secured the 43rd position in the same category.

SIU Pune Location:

Symbiosis International University is located at Lavale, Mulshi, Pune, Maharashtra. Dapodi Railway Station is around 18.1 km away and Bus Station Lavale is 6.1 km away from the institute. Symbiosis International University Admission

SIU admission to the undergraduate programmes will be done through the entrance examination - Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) conducted by the university. SIU Pune Scholarship:

SIU scholarships are provided to the students in order to provide financial support to meritorious students. SIU Pune students can get various scholarships on the basis of merit. A total of 25 UG merit scholarships are awarded to the students who are pursuing an undergraduate programme and a total of 37 PG merit scholarships are awarded to the students who are pursuing a postgraduate degree. UG Merit Scholarship:

This scholarship will be awarded to the meritorious students who are pursuing undergraduate courses. Students who are semester toppers with a minimum GPA of 8.50 will be awarded a scholarship. The students should not have any backlog and there will be no limit on the income of the parents/guardians of the students. If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship offered by SIU Pune then he/she will be awarded only one scholarship/freeship as per their preference.

If more than one students have the same GPA/CGPA, then scores of their past academic performance will be taken into consideration such as marks of 10th and 12th.

SIU UG Merit Scholarship is announced every year by the Symbiosis International University Pune. In case a student cancels his admission then the scholarship will not be given to any other student and the amount will be refunded by the institute to the SIU Pune.

Apart from these scholarships, SIU Pune offers a 30% concession/scholarship for all African students who want to pursue a course at any institute of Symbiosis International University on academic fees. This scheme was started under the ‘Educate Africa’ programme to strengthen the relations between India and Africa. Foreign national students are also eligible to apply. SIU Cutoff:

Symbiosis Pune has released the cutoff for admission to the university. SIU Placement

The SIU Pune placement cell contacts the past and potential recruiters from different sectors and they are invited by the cell to conduct campus placements. Students of the varsity are a part of various conferences and seminars, guest lectures from eminent personalities belonging to the industry. Students are a part of resume writing sessions and various workshops are also organised for the students for the development of soft skills of the students. Symbiosis International University placement cell is responsible for coordinating all the placement activities. It promotes industry-institute interaction so that they are well aware of the various aspects of the corporate world. Companies from different sectors visited the campus and offered jobs to the candidates meeting their job requirements. SIU Pune placement cell bridges the gap between the recruiters and the potential candidates of the college. Step 1:

SIU Pune Admissions

As far the infrastructure is concerned, i would say its pretty awesome. Its so huge that you could easily get lost. But jokes aside , its interesting and the scenery from any point, is awesome. No doubt.

The infrastructure is very good. Faculty is very understanding and supportive. The living spaces are clean and hygienic. The food provided in hostel is hygienic and is of good quality with proper preparation.
